Tryptophan is the precursor amino acid for the synthesis of a molecule linked to neurons, essential for the perception and evaluation of the environment and the ability to respond to environmental stimuli, which is serotonin. Variations in serum levels of tryptophan can alter the concentration of serotonin in the brain.
Vitamin B12: When deficient, it is associated with the decline of neuron functions, with changes in behavior and aggression.
Vitamin B1: It has an important action in the mechanism of glucose utilization, with direct reflexes in the nervous system. In its deficiency, it is common to experience increased fatigue, decreased performance and increased irritability.
